ResKit RSU48-0411 External Fuel Tank represents the AERO 1C (FPU-3/A) 150-gallon fuel tank used by US Navy and US Marine Corps aircraft, including the North American OV-10 Bronco. The set is designed for aircraft model kits in 1/48 and reproduces the distinctive shape of this external drop tank.
The AERO 1C series external fuel tanks were commonly used to extend operational range during patrol, reconnaissance, and support missions. The streamlined cylindrical design with tapered ends makes it a recognizable external store on many US aircraft.
Produced using high-resolution 3D printing technology, the part features refined surface details and accurate proportions to improve the realism of external stores on scale aircraft models.
