ResKit RSU72-0226 Fuel Tanks set provides two 230 gallon fuel tanks designed for AH-64 Apache, MH-60 Jayhawk, UH-60 Black Hawk, HH-60, and S-70A-27 helicopters in 1/72 scale. These tanks, often seen on military helicopters for extended range, are an excellent upgrade for scale modelers looking to enhance the realism of their aircraft builds.
Manufactured using 3D printing technology, the fuel tanks come with accurate detailing, including smooth surfaces and sharp edges that replicate the real-life fuel tanks seen in service with U.S. Army and other air forces. The set is compatible with a variety of Sikorsky and Apache helicopter kits.
For modelers: check the fit of the fuel tanks with the appropriate pylons on the helicopter before final assembly. Light sanding of the mounting surfaces may improve fitment and adhesion of the parts.
