ResKit RSU72-0219 Fuel Tanks Set provides a pair of external 600 gallon fuel tanks designed for the General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark family in 1/72 scale. This aftermarket accessory enhances aircraft scale model kits by adding accurately shaped external tanks commonly carried by operational F-111 aircraft.
Manufactured using high-resolution 3D printing technology, the set includes two fuel tanks with refined surface detail and correct proportions. These tanks were used on several variants of the F-111, including the F-111A, C, D, E, F, and EF-111, allowing modelers to depict realistic operational loadouts.
For modelers: dry-fit the tanks to the pylons before final assembly to ensure proper alignment. Applying primer before painting helps highlight the fine surface details and ensures a smooth finish on resin or 3D printed parts.
