Description
DAN Models DM 48504 is a set of aircraft stop blocks (chocks) designed for 1/48 scale models. This aftermarket accessory for scale model kits includes four chocks with decals to reproduce the retaining pads used to secure aircraft wheels on airfields.
Stop blocks add realism to diorama and display aircraft by showing how models would be immobilized during ground operations. Accurate miniature chocks enhance the authenticity of airfield scenes and provide context for parked aircraft.
For modelers: carefully place the chocks around the landing gear wheels according to your aircraft’s stance. Decals can be applied before positioning to highlight markings. A small dab of adhesive may help fix them on the base for static displays.
