Antonov An-28 aircraft model kit (Polish version) in 1:72 scale represents a light twin-engine transport aircraft developed from the Soviet An-14 design and adapted for short takeoff and landing operations. The An-28 became widely used for regional transport and utility missions.
The An-28 was designed by the Antonov Design Bureau in the late Cold War period and entered service in the 1970s. Aircraft operated by Poland were produced under license and served with military and civil operators, primarily in transport, liaison, and patrol roles.
