Avro Lancaster B.I / B.III aircraft model kit in 1:144 scale represents one of the principal heavy bombers of the Royal Air Force during the Second World War.
The Lancaster B.I and B.III variants formed the backbone of RAF Bomber Command’s night bombing campaign. These versions were powered by Rolls-Royce Merlin engines and were employed in a wide range of strategic bombing operations over Europe between 1942 and 1945.
Characterized by its mid-wing monoplane layout, twin tail fins, and large internal bomb bay, the Lancaster became one of the most recognizable Allied aircraft of World War II. The B.I and B.III variants differed mainly in engine production sources but were operationally interchangeable within frontline bomber units.
