Metallic Details MDR48237 is a cockpit-focused upgrade for the Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey in 1/48, designed for the HobbyBoss kit. The set includes resin (3D-printed) parts plus color-printed elements to sharpen cockpit interior features and replace or enhance the two pilot seats where shape and surface detail are most noticeable.
The V-22 Osprey is a tiltrotor aircraft with a compact cockpit area that draws attention through glazing. This set is intended to improve definition on key interior elements while keeping placement and fit kit-dependent and manageable.
For modelers: start by dry-fitting the new seats and cockpit parts inside the tub and under the canopy to confirm clearance. Keep color-printed parts as late-stage additions: paint and weather the surrounding cockpit first, then attach printed details with small amounts of PVA or low-tack adhesive so you can adjust alignment without damaging the finish.
