Metallic Details MD14416 is a photo-etched exterior detailing set for the Boeing 747 in 1/144, recommended for Revell kits. The fret includes more than 70 metal parts (115×147 mm) intended to refine small exterior features with thinner, sharper edges than molded plastic can usually provide.
This set is focused on exterior enhancement for a large civil airliner subject, where consistent fine detail helps keep the finish uniform across the fuselage and wing surfaces. The exact placement and selection of parts can be kit-dependent.
For modelers: dry-fit key PE pieces before glue to confirm alignment on curved surfaces, and handle long thin parts with a flat bending surface to avoid unintended kinks. After installation, use a light primer coat to check for raised edges before your main paint layers.
