Description
Metallic Details MD3518 provides photo-etched (PE) netting for diorama work in 1/35. It is designed to imitate a camo net texture and can be shaped to suit vehicle, position, or scenery layout (diorama-dependent).
The main benefit of PE netting is controllable drape and repeatable pattern: you can create natural-looking folds, tension points, and layered coverage without bulky fabric weave in small scales. The sheet size is 93 × 145 mm.
This is a universal diorama accessory—use it as netting over stowage, structures, or parked equipment, and adjust the final look with paint, shading, and light weathering based on your scene.
For modelers: test-shape the net first, then lock the form with small attachment points. For a softer drape, lightly anneal the PE (brief heat, then cool) and re-shape; for a thicker “textile” look, place the PE over fine gauze or tissue and fix with diluted PVA before painting. Spray the base color in thin coats so the openings stay crisp.
