de Havilland DH.60C Cirrus Moth aircraft model kit in 1:48 scale represents an early production variant of the famous British light aircraft that played a key role in the development of private and club aviation during the interwar period.
The DH.60C Cirrus Moth was powered by the ADC Cirrus engine and became one of the first widely successful light aircraft intended for civilian use. Its simple construction, reliable performance, and ease of handling helped popularize flying among private owners, flying clubs, and training organizations in the 1920s.
The Cirrus Moth was also used for long-distance flights and record attempts, demonstrating the growing reliability of light aircraft technology in the years following the First World War. It laid the groundwork for later Moth variants that would become even more widespread.
