The DH.60M Metal Moth was developed as a response to the limitations of wooden airframes in harsh climates. Featuring a metal fuselage structure, this variant was particularly suited for operation in hot, humid, and remote regions, while retaining the handling qualities that made the Moth series popular worldwide.
