Metallic Details MDR14417 combines resin and photo-etched parts to detail the Convair B-36 Peacemaker in 1/144, recommended for Roden kits. On 1/144 airframes, some external items can appear simplified; this set focuses on surface features, antenna shapes, and gear-bay areas to add definition to exterior details.
The B-36 Peacemaker is a large piston-engined bomber aircraft. This upgrade targets exterior details along with antennas and chassis niches (wheel bays) (kit-dependent), without changing the overall airframe geometry.
For modelers: test-fit the bay parts with the fuselage and wing sections taped together to confirm alignment before painting. Prime resin and PE separately, paint the wheel bays as subassemblies, then add antennas near the end of the build to reduce handling damage; keep notes on which kit openings you modify so both sides match.
