Metallic Details MDR72100 is a 3D-printed set to build one Fiat A.74 radial engine in 1/72. The “angle” here is open-front engine visibility: this upgrade helps when the kit’s engine face is simplified, or when you plan to show the engine behind a more open cowling.
The Fiat A.74 is a two-row, fourteen-cylinder air-cooled radial engine. This set is a universal engine accessory for 1/72 aircraft projects where the A.74 is applicable (kit- and variant-dependent).
For modelers: dry-fit the engine against your kit’s cowling and firewall parts before paint to confirm diameter and depth. Prime to check for print texture, then paint in sub-assemblies; keep wiring and wash work restrained at 1/72 so the cylinder fin detail stays readable rather than clogged.
