Description
Metallic Details MDR3522 is a 3D-printed figure kit to build Robot D-209 in 1/35. It is a compact project that works well as a standalone display piece or as a focal “tech” element in a small vignette.
The set is supplied unpainted and unassembled. It can be used for gaming-style displays, figures collections, or diorama layouts where a mechanical subject adds contrast to standard ground elements.
Robot subjects in 1/35 are often about clean geometry and consistent edges. Keeping the main silhouette straight and the joints aligned is usually what makes the final result look tidy at this scale.
For modelers: remove supports in small steps and dry-fit the main joints before glue to confirm alignment. If a joint is load-bearing, add a simple pin (wire or rod) for strength. Prime early to reveal any print lines, then lightly sand and re-prime before final paint.
