Metallic Details MDR7269 3D Printed Set contains parts to build one FlaK 30/38 20 mm gun in 1/72. The practical focus is the small mechanical structure: in this scale, the shield, mount, and receiver area can look blocky in injected kits, and a printed assembly can keep edges and openings more defined for open display.
This is a universal weapon accessory that can be used as a standalone model, a scene prop for a base, or an add-on for vehicle and diorama projects (final integration is layout-dependent). The set is supplied as unpainted, unassembled parts.
For modelers: plan the build as a “micro kit.” Clean supports carefully, then dry-fit the main carriage and barrel line before glue. Prime early to reveal any print lines, and keep paint layers thin so small cutouts and levers stay readable. If you place it on a base, drill small locating holes and pin the mount for strength—1/72 accessories are easy to knock loose during handling.
