Metallic Details MDR3207 provides 3D-printed parts for detailing the FuG 218 radar in 1/32. This type of upgrade is most noticeable on aircraft exteriors where thin antenna elements and their symmetry are hard to capture with molded kit parts.
It is a focused set for adding a cleaner radar array outline and sharper mounting points, keeping the front-end silhouette and small external fittings more consistent after paint.
The FuG 218 is described as a low-to-mid VHF-band airborne intercept radar device used as an active targeting system on several aircraft types (application and placement are kit-dependent).
For modelers: plan the mounting points before glue—mark the locations and drill shallow locator holes so the parts sit straight and repeatably.
