Metallic Details MDR48276 is a 3D-printed engine detailing set to build one Gnome-Rhône 14K radial engine in 1/48. It is intended for projects where the engine face and cylinder rows are visible and benefit from sharper, round-by-round definition than many kit parts provide.
The practical angle is cylinder-row depth: a two-row radial looks most convincing when the spacing and fin detail stay crisp after primer and paint. This set helps you keep that layered look, especially on open-cowling or partially exposed engine installations (fit is kit-dependent).
The Gnome-Rhône 14K “Mistral Major” is a two-row radial engine type used on a range of aircraft.
