Metallic Details MDR48277 3D Printed Set contains resin parts to build one Gnome-Rhône 14N radial engine in 1/48. The set can be used when the engine face is visible through an open cowling, cooling gills, or a front opening where kit detail may appear simplified.
The Gnome-Rhône 14N was used on a range of aircraft designs, so this is a universal aftermarket option for 1/48 projects that represent a 14N-equipped subject. Exact fit and how much of the engine is seen depend on your kit’s cowling parts and mounting approach.
For modelers: dry-fit the engine with the kit firewall and cowling before painting to confirm diameter and depth. Paint the engine as a separate unit, then weather lightly and install after the main airframe painting to help avoid masking around the cowling opening. If your model uses a propeller shaft, check centering so the engine face sits square to the cowling ring.
