Description
FCM 36 French light tank is a plastic model kit in 1/35 scale produced by ICM. The kit represents the FCM 36, a French infantry support tank developed in the 1930s and used by the French Army during the early stages of World War II.
The FCM 36 was designed with several advanced features for its time, including sloped armor and a diesel engine, both uncommon among tanks of that period. Built by Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée, the vehicle entered service in the late 1930s and participated in the defense of France in 1940.
FCM 36 - French World War II Light Tank
The tank was intended to support infantry formations and operate alongside other French armored vehicles. Its distinctive welded armor plates and compact turret design gave the vehicle a recognizable silhouette among interwar and early World War II armored vehicles.
