Soviet Maxim Machine Gun 1941 is a 1/35 scale plastic model kit by ICM representing the Soviet version of the Maxim heavy machine gun used by infantry units during World War II.
The Maxim machine gun was one of the standard heavy machine guns employed by Soviet forces throughout the Second World War. Mounted on a wheeled Sokolov carriage and equipped with a water-cooled barrel, it was designed to provide sustained supporting fire for infantry formations in defensive and prepared positions.
