Description
SMS Markgraf was a German dreadnought battleship of the König class that served in the Imperial German Navy during World War I. This plastic model kit in 1/700 scale by ICM represents the historic warship known for its participation in major fleet operations of the era.
The König-class battleships formed the core of the German High Seas Fleet during the later years of the war. Commissioned in the mid-1910s, SMS Markgraf took part in major North Sea operations including the Battle of Jutland. The ship featured a centerline arrangement of main artillery turrets and heavy armor protection typical of dreadnought battleship design.
