Metallic Details MD7207 is a photo-etched set for 1/72 builds of the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, focused on exterior grille / mesh-style details. It helps replace simplified kit openings with finer, more scale-looking patterns where thin edges and clean cutouts are important.
On the SR-71’s airframe, small surface intakes, vents, and screened areas can stand out on a dark finish if the thickness is overscale. This set is intended to support a sharper exterior look without turning the build into a heavy rework project (exact placement depends on your kit tooling).
