D
I received this kit in perfect condition from Ukraine. I currently have it on the bench and it is going together well. As it is an Avis kit, typically short-run, it does require patience and skill to assemble. I absolutely love the Avis kits due to their unique subjects that can not be found by other scale model companies.
The vendor,Plastic-models-kits.com , is a great vendor and I purchased regularly from this company. There has never been a problem with any of the purchases, and the owner Vitaly goes above and beyond to assist with any questions. This vendor is my go to place for unique model kits such as the Bf-109C-1, as well as many other unique kits.
Description
Messerschmitt Bf-109C-1 aircraft plastic model kit in 1/72 scale by Avis represents an early production variant of the well-known German fighter aircraft developed in the late 1930s. The Bf 109C series introduced improvements over earlier versions and played a role in the early development of this aircraft family.
The Bf-109C-1 was equipped with enhanced armament compared to previous variants and was part of the transition toward later operational versions used during World War II. It reflects the early evolution of single-engine monoplane fighter design.
Bf-109C-1 - Early Variant of a Classic Fighter
The aircraft features a low-wing monoplane configuration, enclosed cockpit, and retractable landing gear, representing modern fighter design for its time. These characteristics contributed to its widespread adoption and further development.
For modelers: Early Bf 109 variants include subtle external differences. Careful assembly of the fuselage, wings, and landing gear helps preserve correct proportions and surface detail in 1/72 scale.
