Metallic Details MDR3208 is a resin 3D-printed tail support wheel set for the Messerschmitt Bf 109E in 1/32. It replaces the small rear landing gear assembly where tread, fork shape, and clean edges remain noticeable even after weathering.
The tail support area influences the aircraft’s ground stance and can draw attention when the model is viewed from the side. This set is a focused upgrade for builders who want a sharper rear gear detail without reworking the whole landing gear system.
For modelers: test-fit the tailwheel fork into the kit opening and check the wheel sits square to the centerline before glue. If your kit uses a soft locating tab, consider adding a thin pin for strength. Paint the wheel and fork as a separate subassembly, then install late to avoid handling damage while finishing the airframe.
