Metallic Details MDR3209 is a 3D-printed tail support wheel set for 1/32 builds of the Messerschmitt Bf 109F/G. It focuses on the tailwheel area where shape, thickness, and alignment affect the model’s stance when displayed on its landing gear (kit not included).
On Bf 109 builds, the tail support wheel sits close to the ground and is easy to see from low angles. A cleaner wheel profile helps the rear gear area look more consistent once the model is placed on a base or shelf.
For modelers: test-fit the tailwheel in the fork or mounting point and confirm the wheel sits square to the centerline when viewed from the rear. If your kit uses a pin/axle, drill the wheel hole gradually to match the diameter, then keep paint off the axle contact surfaces to avoid a tight fit. Let the alignment cure on a flat surface so the tailwheel does not lean.
