Aftermarket 3D printed accessory set for helicopter scale model kits designed to reproduce the weapon mounting frame with BD3-57KrV pylons used on early configurations of the Mil Mi-8 Hip.
This upgrade supports accurate 1/48 scale helicopter model builds by providing the external mounting frames used to carry weapons or stores on operational Mi-8 helicopters.
The BD3-57KrV mounting system is associated with early Soviet and Ukrainian service configurations, allowing external equipment such as rocket pods or other stores to be attached to the helicopter’s side structures. Adding a dedicated aftermarket mounting frame helps improve the structural detail and proportions of this external equipment system.
The set includes two weapon mounting frames, allowing installation on both sides of the helicopter fuselage.
For modelers: dry-fit the frames against the fuselage mounting points before painting to confirm alignment. Carefully remove printing supports and apply primer first to reveal the fine structural details of the frame and rack components.
