Metallic Details MDR4826 is a Jet nozzels upgrade in resin for the Mikoyan MiG-25 RB/RBT in 1/48, recommended for the ICM kit. The set includes multiple resin parts to refine the exhaust area, where depth and edge thickness are especially noticeable on a finished model.
Exhaust sections tend to attract attention because they sit at the very rear of the airframe and catch light differently from surrounding paint. Replacing the kit nozzles can help improve the “tunnel” effect and keep circular parts more consistent and scale-appropriate.
The MiG-25 family includes the RB and RBT variants. This upgrade focuses on the jet nozzle area, supporting a cleaner rear-end look and a more convincing transition between metallic tones and the surrounding airframe finish.
For modelers: dry-fit the nozzle parts early and confirm the final depth before you close the fuselage halves. Check the roundness and alignment from the rear view, then sand mating faces flat for even seating. Paint the interior and exterior separately where possible, and avoid heavy paint layers on the nozzle lip to keep the edge crisp.
