Metallic Details MDR4878 is a resin + photo-etched set for exterior detailing of the Mil Mi-24 helicopter in 1/48, designed for Zvezda kits. The practical “angle” of this set is surface refinement: thin metal parts and crisp resin details help sharpen small external fittings that can look heavy after primer and paint.
The Mi-24 is a large military helicopter with a distinctive, busy exterior. This upgrade focuses on improving visible outer details while keeping the base kit assembly sequence familiar (kit-dependent).
For modelers: plan the exterior additions before closing the fuselage so you can reinforce attachment points from the inside where possible. Test-fit each PE part on the curved surfaces, pre-bend gently, then attach with small CA dots; add the most fragile pieces after main painting and masking to reduce accidental damage.
