Description
Metallic Details MDR4871 is a resin + photo-etched set for detailing the wheel bays on a 1/48 Mil Mi-24 helicopter build, recommended for Zvezda kits. Wheel bays are deep “shadow zones” on finished models; adding structured walls and finer edges helps the area look less empty when viewed from below.
The Mi-24 is a large helicopter with both combat and transport roles. This upgrade focuses on the landing gear bay area only, improving interior bay definition while keeping the exterior airframe work unchanged (kit-dependent).
For modelers: test-fit the resin parts with the fuselage halves taped together to confirm depth and clearance for the landing gear legs. Clean mating edges flat, prime before painting, and add the PE details after the main bay color is on; install the bays before final fuselage closure so alignment stays square.
