Tupolev Tu-22KDP is a plastic model kit in 1/72 scale produced by MODELSVIT representing a Soviet long-range supersonic bomber of the Cold War period. The Tu-22 family was developed as a successor to earlier jet bombers and introduced higher speed and extended operational capabilities.
The Tu-22, known by the NATO reporting name "Blinder", was designed by the Tupolev Design Bureau to perform long-range strike missions. The aircraft featured a streamlined fuselage, swept wings, and powerful engines mounted in the rear fuselage, reflecting design approaches of early supersonic bombers.
