Description
Aftermarket 3D printed accessory for aircraft scale model kits designed to reproduce the access ladders used on the Republic F-105F and F-105G Thunderchief.
This detail set supports realistic 1/48 scale aircraft model builds, representing the ladders commonly used by ground crews and pilots when accessing the cockpit area of the aircraft.
The Thunderchief’s cockpit sits relatively high above the ground, making access ladders a recognizable feature when the aircraft is displayed in a parked configuration. Adding a dedicated aftermarket ladder set helps create a more dynamic display scene around the aircraft.
The set includes two ladders, allowing modelers to represent maintenance or boarding scenes on diorama-style builds.
For modelers: carefully remove the 3D printed parts from their supports and test-fit them against the cockpit sill before painting. Use thin paint layers to preserve the fine structural detail of the ladder steps and frame.
