The F-105 Thunderchief features a long pointed nose where the radome and pitot probe define the aircraft’s front silhouette. This replacement section helps improve the alignment and visual sharpness of that area compared with simplified kit components.
For modelers: check the joint between the replacement nose cone and fuselage halves before gluing. Because the pitot tube is slender, install it near the end of assembly to reduce the risk of damage during handling.
