Aftermarket 3D printed accessory for helicopter scale model kits designed to reproduce the unfolded main rotor used on the Sea King helicopter.
This set supports accurate 1/48 scale helicopter model builds, representing the rotor assembly in the fully extended flight configuration with blades unfolded.
The Sea King’s large rotor system dominates the helicopter’s overall silhouette. Replacing simplified kit components with a dedicated aftermarket rotor helps improve the hub structure, blade attachment detail and the overall rotor geometry.
An unfolded rotor configuration is ideal for displaying the helicopter ready for flight or positioned on a flight deck with blades extended.
For modelers: dry-fit the rotor hub and blades before painting to confirm alignment. When removing supports from 3D printed parts, work gradually and check blade angles to maintain a balanced rotor disc.
