Metallic Details MDR3524 is a 1/35 accessory set with six 3D-printed AKSU rifles for armor and diorama projects. It’s aimed at the small items that often look oversized in plastic: slim stocks, compact receivers, and consistent overall proportions across multiple pieces.
This set is useful when you need repeated small arms for stowage, vehicle interiors, or figure-based scenes without mixing different-looking kit parts.
AKSU rifles are compact, so they read well as “carried or stored” equipment. In 1/35, replacing chunky parts in this area can make crew spaces and open hatches look more convincing without changing the main vehicle build.
For modelers: paint the six rifles as a batch: tack them to a strip of low-tack tape on a card so you can prime and color-coat evenly. Before final placement, test-fit against your figure hands, racks, or storage bins; if you need pins, drill shallow locator holes and use thin wire to help keep alignment steady during glue-up.
