Metallic Details MDM4819 Painting Masks are self-adhesive masks for Sukhoi Su-34 in 1/48, intended for Kitty Hawk kits. The main advantage is cleaner, repeatable edge control on complex surface breaks where hand-cut masking can drift.
The Su-34 is a twin-engine, twin-seat aircraft type with distinctive glazing and external shapes. This mask set helps keep paint boundaries consistent across the areas covered by the set layout (kit-dependent).
For modelers: test each mask piece dry to confirm orientation, then burnish edges gently to seal them. Spray light coats to reduce paint creep, and remove masks after the paint has set but before it becomes fully hard.
