Metallic Details MDM4818 is a set of self-adhesive painting masks for a Sukhoi Su-35S build in 1/48, intended for the Great Wall Hobby kit. The practical benefit is clean, repeatable edge work on framed areas and small openings where freehand masking can drift over multiple panels.
The Su-35S is a modern single-seat twin-engine aircraft with prominent glazing and many crisp panel intersections. These masks are designed to help keep demarcations neat and consistent while you focus on surface prep and paint control rather than cutting tape for every segment.
For modelers: apply masks to a fully cured, de-dusted surface and burnish only the edges (not the whole mask) to avoid lifting. Do a quick dry placement first to confirm orientation, then seal edges with a light mist coat before the main color. Remove the masks soon after painting, pulling back on themselves at a low angle.
