Description
Metallic Details MD7217 Photo-Etched Set is made for refining both the interior and exterior of a Sukhoi Su-57 build in 1/72 for the Zvezda kit. The main value here is “micro-structure” control: thin metal parts help keep cockpit touchpoints and small exterior features crisp instead of softened by paint layers.
The Su-57 has complex surfaces and tight panel geometry, so small items can visually disappear if they are slightly thick or rounded. This set is intended to add definition to selected visible areas while keeping fit and placement kit-dependent.
For modelers: work interior first, then close the fuselage, then move to exterior items. Prime the PE on the fret, cut and clean attachment points, and test-fit before committing. If you paint after installation, use light coats around raised PE so the edges stay sharp; if you paint before installation, lightly scuff the contact points for reliable bonding.
