Metallic Details MDR7278 Vickers 40 mm Automatic Gun is a 3D-printed resin set in 1/72 that provides parts to build one gun. The main benefit is cleaner barrel and mount geometry, which stays sharp after primer and makes the piece read clearly on a deck or base.
This accessory is intended for ship-model applications and other 1/72 projects where a compact gun position helps define the layout without adding a large structure. Final placement and surrounding details are project-dependent.
For modelers: dry-fit the mount to the intended surface and mark the footprint before glue so the gun sits square. Keep the barrel alignment straight by using a simple jig (a strip of plastic card as a guide), and apply primer in thin passes to avoid softening fine edges on small parts.
