British Army Mobile Chapel is a 1/35 scale plastic vehicle model kit by ICM representing a specialized support vehicle used by the British Army during World War II. Mobile chapels were designed to provide a space for religious services and spiritual support for military personnel in field conditions.
During the war, various adapted vehicles and trailers were used by military chaplains to conduct services close to operational areas. These mobile chapels allowed soldiers to gather for religious ceremonies and moments of reflection even when deployed far from permanent facilities.
British Army Mobile Chapel - WWII Field Support Vehicle
The concept of a mobile chapel allowed chaplaincy units to accompany formations and support troops wherever they were stationed. Such vehicles were equipped with interior fittings and accessories required for conducting services in temporary or improvised environments.
