Description
Metallic Details MDR3249 is a 3D-printed resin exhaust set for the Yak-9 in 1/32, recommended for ICM kits. The upgrade is aimed at the exhaust outlet area where depth and clean edges are visible along the fuselage sides.
Exhaust parts are small, but they sit in a high-contrast zone near panel lines and weathering. Replacing the kit exhausts can help you keep the openings crisp and improve the “hollow” look without drilling each outlet.
For modelers: test-fit the exhausts from both the outside and inside (if your kit allows) before glue to ensure the correct projection and angle. Paint and weather the exhausts as separate parts, then install late to avoid overspray and handling marks. If you plan heavy staining, mask the surrounding fuselage first so the edge stays controlled.
